How Kids 'N Action collects, uses and protects the information you give us when you book a party, join as a member or use this website.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Who we are

Kids 'N Action is an indoor play center at 1149 McDonald Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230. This policy covers kidsnaction.com and the bookings, memberships and accounts you create through it. If you have any question about it, call us at (718) 377-1818 or email info@kidsnaction.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • When you book a party or a group event: your name, email, phone number, the date and details of your event, and any notes you send us.
  • When you join as a member: your name, email, phone, home address, emergency contact, and the name and date of birth of each child on the membership.
  • When you create an account: your email address and password, or, if you sign in with Google, your name and email address from your Google account.
  • Waivers and check-in: the signature on a waiver, and a member photo if one is taken for a membership pass.
  • When you ask us to call you back: your name, phone, email and what you told us about your event.

Payment information

Card payments are handled by our payment processor, Sola Payments. Your full card number is entered directly into their secure form and is not stored on our systems. For recurring memberships, the processor gives us a substitute code (a token) that lets us charge the card on schedule without us ever holding the card number itself. We do keep a record of what was paid, when, and the last digits of the card, so we can look up a payment for you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web servers record basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and the time you viewed them. We also set the cookies described below.

Children's information

We are a children's play center, so some of the information we hold is about children — names, dates of birth, membership photos and waiver records. We collect that information from the parent or guardian, not from the child. Our website is intended for adults making a booking or managing a membership, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13.

We use a child's information to run the membership, confirm age-based pricing and eligibility, and keep children safe while they are with us.

We also use a child's date of birth to contact the parent about birthdays. That means we may email, text or call you before your child's birthday to offer a party or a promotion, and we may give members a discount or a free pass during their child's birthday month. These messages always go to the parent or guardian who signed up — never to the child — and you can stop them at any time by clicking unsubscribe or telling us.

We do not sell children's information, we do not share it with advertising platforms, and we do not use it to target ads at children. If you believe a child has given us information directly, email us and we will delete it.

How we use your information

  • To take and confirm your booking, and to run your party or event.
  • To set up and manage a membership, including recurring billing and membership passes.
  • To check members in and verify waivers at the door.
  • To send you confirmations, receipts, reminders and notices about your booking or membership.
  • To answer your questions and call you back when you ask us to.
  • To send you occasional promotions, specials and news about Kids 'N Action, if you are a customer or asked to hear from us. Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop your booking confirmations or receipts.
  • To let you know when your child's birthday is coming up, and to offer you a party, a birthday-month discount or a free pass. These go to you as the parent, not to your child.
  • To keep our records, handle refunds and disputes, meet our tax and insurance obligations, and keep the play center and this website safe and working.

Cookies and tracking

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognize you on your next click or next visit.

What we use today

Right now this site uses only essential cookies. They keep you signed in to your account or the admin panel, keep your booking in progress from being lost as you move between steps, and carry you safely through Google sign-in if you use it. The site does not currently run any advertising or analytics tracking.

What we may use in the future

We expect to start advertising Kids 'N Action online. When we do, this site may include tracking from advertising and analytics providers such as Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Those providers set their own cookies and may use them to measure which ads brought people to our site and to show our ads to people who have visited us. We will post a notice on the site when this begins, and this policy will say so in plain terms. We never sell your personal information, and we never hand children's information to these advertising platforms.

Your choices

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop bookings and sign-in from working properly. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

This site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Our staff. Kids 'N Action employees and party staff can see booking and membership details in our admin system as part of running your event and checking members in.
  • Companies that run parts of our service. Sola Payments (card processing), Wasabi (secure storage for member photos and signed waivers), Google (sign-in and our business listing), and our email provider (confirmations and notices). Each handles only what it needs to do its job.
  • Advertising and analytics providers, if and when we add the tracking described above.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our guests, our staff or our business.
  • If the business is sold or transferred, customer records may transfer with it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking, membership, waiver and payment records indefinitely, as part of our ongoing business records and for tax, insurance and liability purposes. If you would rather we delete your information, email us and we will do so, except where we are required to keep a record.

How we protect it

Our site runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, account passwords are stored scrambled and cannot be read by us or our staff, card numbers stay with our payment processor, and access to the admin system is limited to staff accounts we create. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Your choices and rights

  • See or correct your information. Email or call us and we will tell you what we hold and fix anything that is wrong. Members can also update details in their account.
  • Delete your information. Ask us and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
  • Stop promotional email. Click unsubscribe in any promotional email, or tell us.
  • California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information. Email us to make a request.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information — including when we start using advertising cookies — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
